What We Do
Children & Women's Rights
We cannot fight disease and poverty closing our eyes to basic human rights. Public health and the right of children to eat is not only a nutritional question it is about our shared responsibility to guarantee children's rights. ICROSS is providing basic health care to thousands in remote areas. Following the Crisis in Kenya since January 2008, hundreds of thousands of people lost their homes, were displaced and were victims of widespread violence. We are working with communities to protect their rights and working to ensure that the vulnerable are protected.
No international initiative can work without campaigning for social justice. It is our responsibility to actively campaign for the basic rights of human beings. You share with us the same obligation to work together to terminate extreme poverty. We are members of a number of international networks and alliances, campaigning for basic human rights. Our interviews, books and publications and lectures continually encourage everyone to become actively involved in children's and women's rights.
